What are the best workout videos for beginners?

I haven't exercised for about 3 months now,and pretty much the only workout that I've ever done is the 30 day shred. I've never even gotten to the 3rd level because my knees started hurting really bad on like the fourth day of the second level.

I tried doing Insanity but it's just way too much for me right now. I'm considering Turbo Jam,but I don't know if it's a good choice either.

I'm really looking for something that I can actually do,something that won't hurt my knees and something that would make the fat go away and make me gain muscles.
Any suggestions?

  • Hiya, I'd suggest pump it up move it, loose it. Good music and fun to do, there's a warm up, tone it up section, 3 dance routines to choose from (more like aerobics tho) legs, bums and tums section then a cool done section with lots of stretches. I've been doing it for an hour 6 days a week and my legs are toning up fast and my fitness levels and flexibility are coming back (used to be fit and slim) Another dance DVD that is good, is the now thats what I call music-feel the burn.
