SNACKS!

I love to snack. Love it! But I need to find some healthier alternatives. I found seeds, and homemade popcorn, and cut up veggies to be great, but I was hoping that maybe we could share some healthy snack recipes?

I love snacking on avocado with a little lemon pepper sprinkled on top. Banana & peanut butter. Crackerbread or rice cakes with tuna mayo. Yoghurt. Small bowl of muesli or granola. Cheese strings. A protein shake, I get flavoured ones and it's like having a milkshake that's really filling. I even have proper meals, like pasta, but just cut the portion size to make it a snack rather than a full meal :)

im a big sucker for popcorn - with nativa and salt or nutritional yeast (savoury yeast - packed with b vitamins).
    or...
pickled vegetables, soup (home made whatever - feels like a mini meal and gets in plenty of fibre and vitamins), small can of tuna - i usually get the flavoured one in japanese style.
then the usual - protein bars, high protein yogurt, fruit etc.

I try to have snacks with protein or fiber of some kind:

Hard boiled egg, or Deviled egg (with FF greek yogurt/grainy mustard/horseradish)
String Cheese or Mini Babybel Light cheese
Dry Roasted Edamame with Wasabi (14grams soy protein per serving)
Celery sticks stuffed with Laughing Cow cheese wedge or Fat Free cream cheese
Greek Yogurt (plain, non fat) with 1 tbsp sugar-free jam and 1/4 cup Fiber One Cereal (protein, fiber, and yummy too)
Cuties Clementine (mandarin orange) when I want something sweet
