Hi, I am guessing if you are reading this you use Linseed/Flaxseed as a suppliment - I have never used Linseed before, has anyone had any problems with its use/adverse reactions etc? My husband has problems with constipation as he just cant seem to manage drinking enough water (despite my nagging) and so feels uncomfortable and bloated. I heard linseed can help with this but then read it can cause blockages if you do not drink enough... what do you think?

I'm not really sure what you mean by 'supplement'... are you buying it in some kind of pill form?
I just buy natural linseeds and sprinkle a small amount onto soups, porridge, stuff like that. I only use one to two tsp a day, I find that is enough for me but everyone is different. Everything in moderation as my mum would say lol
It has never caused me any problems. When my friend was pregnant she suffered badly with constipation so I told her to put some on her breakfast etc for a couple of days and it sorted her out :-D

He needs to drink water, plain and simple.

Flaxseeds are rich in fiber but 2/3 of it is insoluble water which needs water to flush out the intestines.
