    Kevin,
Hi there! I dont live close to you but I am a Beachbody Coach and do all sorts of challenge groups on FB. They are a secret group that I make with only the members that want to be in it can see each others posts. We usually do a 60-90 day challenge and what we all do is post about our successes, struggles, workouts, eating and so on. We give each other motivation and encouragement! Im starting another one May 1st, so if youre interested let me know. Its free and wouldnt hurt to try.

I don't live near you and I'm absolutely no good at helping others with their gym troubles. (I have yet to step into a gym). But I know a few places on MFP where you find some help and support.

"Eat, train, progress" is a group run by Side Steel and Sarauksf. They know a lot about fitness, exercise and diet. Their group is designed to give straight-forward, fact-based advice on exercise routines and diet, especially how diet relates to plateaus.

"40 to 50 year olds" is a fairly new group created for those of us who are no longer in our 20s or 30s. In other words, those of us who face age-related challenges when it comes to exercise and overall fitness. It is a good place to ask others for advice and make a few friends who are our age.

Finally, there is the "In Place of a Roadmap" group, also known on MFP as IPOARM. It is possible that you've been eating too much or, like most members who find their way there, too little.

IPOARM is all about slow, steady weight loss. In the stickies you'll find some interesting information about BMR (basal metabolic rate) and TDEE (total daily energy expenditure). Also in the stickies is this post:

The post above explains how to use this spreadsheet, which you can download to your computer and track your calorie goals:
