Hi, I'm new!

Hey, I'm Monica. I'm 18 and a senior in high school. I've been heavy since I was four and have dieted on and off my whole life. As a teenager, the lowest I ever got was 189, and now after losing 35 lbs (!!!!) I'm 185.5 and losing every day! I want to get as light as possible before I go off to college in the fall. I flexibly do weight watchers with a friend of mine, but not only is this free, but it's easier just to track calories! I appreciate support and am happy to give it as well. This is the most successful I've ever been at trying to lose weight and I really want to get down to my goal weight of 150...in the 140's would be epic, but I want to be realistic. Side note, I am heading to Illinois State University next year to become a high school English teacher! I love to read, roller blade, bike ride, shop, play sand volleyball, badminton and softball, going to the beach and Door County, WI. So, basically, hi to everyone! I'm very excited to be on this site! :flowerforyou:

  • Well sounds like you are set. You like to play a lot of sports and be busy and active, so with that a good diet regimen and you should be good to go in no time. And awesome for you going to college, and to be a teacher. Super great!

    Welcome Monica! You'll love this site and after awhile it will be like second nature logging everything in. I've been on this for about a month and have lost 10 lbs. Good luck to you!!!
