Rodney yee and the big fat affair.

I have been practicing yoga for about 7 years now, and Rodney Yee has always been my favorite. He just really has a way of relaxing me. I was reading something about him leaving his wife for Colleen Saidman, one of his students. If you practice yoga, did this whole cheating scandal turn you off? I don't really think I ever cared about it.

I do not practice yoga, however if my favorite on screen instructor is having an affair it doesn't change the work out. I do not need to like them as a person if their work out kicks my butt they have done their job.

I didn't do his dvds, but wouldn't care. If I already paid for the DVD, I'm just helpin' him pay for alimony.

I used to like his dvd's when I was younger. And I still prefer them over others. Other yoga dvd's are boring and uninteresting. I like power yoga and shorter time frames for a dvd. I do prefer actually taking yoga in class (and as warm up for dancing). I didn't really pay attention to the affair. I guess it didn't really bother me. It was just an affair, not like some of the other yoga teachers that have even stranger scandals.

He's not your personal friend, so it shouldn't matter. Trust me when I say that he doesn't care what people who buys his DVD's think of his personal affairs. He just cares whether or not you're getting a workout.

Yeah, it was a shame to read about his infidelity, but that's not my business. I still LOVE his yoga DVDs and think he's an excellent teacher. We've all got our own sins to answer for and there's no way I'm casting stones (let his ex-wife do that!)
