Had a major NSV today. I ran my first 5k! I finished with a chip time of 38:39, and ran nearly the whole first mile. I have been slowly training since using Couch-to-5k since December 31st (I say slowly because I still am stuck on week six of the program). I am very excited for my next race in June, and can't wait to get back out there and keep training.

Great job. The first one is the most intimidating but the most satisfying to finish.

That's really great! I want to try the program, too, but right now I'm just walking. Congrats!

Was going to add a picture, but for some reason even when I resize it, it's huge. I'll have to try again tomorrow. :(

Great Job!!! I made it to the end of the program but am not quite running a full 5k yet. I had a great weekend camping and realized how fit and strong I was becoming and signed up this morning. I hope I do as well as you. I'm pretty excited and have 6 weeks to train.

Keep working on the C25K, I had to repeat week 4 and week 7. You'll get it.

Yep, I'm not worried about making it to end of the program. I've had to repeat a lot of weeks, some of them more than once, but I am totally okay with that. I'm celebrating the small victories along the way and enjoying the process :) I was really surprised by how well I did. It was a lot of fun, and I'm sure yours will be too!
