I eat whatever i want. counting calories will make you cut back on fat and unhealthy foods. you can't eat all cupcakes and only use 1200 calories or you will starvee lol there are days when i feel really strong and motivated and would rather have a lot of something good for me and there are days when i would rather eat less of something that i have been craving. i don't feel too guilty - even on days that i go over my calorie goal i just make sure to keep it under what i burn that day. as my dad has always said "i didn't gain it overnight and i won't lose it overnight either" i know what you mean because i lost almost 50 pounds when my husband was deployed and when he came back i gained all of it back over a period of about a year. Part of my problem was/is that healthy foods are so expensive. i could afford them when he was deployed because we got deployment pay but when he came home i went right back to the regular margarine - $1 a loaf bread - 78% ground beef. those little changes make a lot of difference. also lots of the healthier alternatives are not available where we live without driving about 40 miles to get them this time i am making sure that i figure the calories in my recipes and stuff using the ingredients i will be able to continue to use. that way i am preparing for the changes that will take place when he gets home. it just goes back to making a lifestyle change instead of going on a diet. i will NEVER be able to live without pizza but i can eat one slice with some vegetables instead of 3 slices! and it is healthier for me oh andme as a friend and you can see my food diary it is public to my friends0

I eat anything I want just stick to serving sizes. Tonight we had hotdogs, smores, mac and cheese and peas for dinner and I was still able to stay within my calories by using 1/4 of a chocolate bar on the smore and using turkey hot dogs instead of regular hot dogs. Its all about finding what works for you. This HAS to be a lifestyle change to work.0

That is so funny I was just talking about this. I eat what ever I want. I see it as a lifestyle change. I do not do anything that I will not be able to keep to in the future. So I eat what ever I want in moderation and in my correct portion size of course. And the weight is still coming off. I dont eat like smart ones and stuff like that because I wont forever eat that. And as soon as I eat regular food my body will blow back up lol0
