Am I doing it right?

Okay, so yesterday was my first official Leg Day
I did about 8 different leg excercises. They each consisted of 10-12 reps: 3 sets each.
I made sure they were hard. My new goal is to lift heavy. With that being said, every leg movement I did was weighted.
I thought FOR sure that my legs would be sore today, because I NEVER just work out my legs. Ever.
Well, they aren't sore. So I'm wondering ..does this mean I didn't lift heavy enough? Was my workout not sufficient?
I'm thinking that since I do work out 5-6 days a week already that maybe my muslces are pretty strong already so that's the reason why they aren't too sore.
Is there anyone out there with any experience or knowledge that can lend me some advice?

See how you feel tomorrow.
And next time you might want to use enough weight that you can't finish some of the sets.0
