I seem to be having a stressful day with one thing or another and all i seem to do is catch myself stress eating. so far have eaten about 9 bits of chocolate (1 freddo and 8 cadbury crispello) and a bag of walkers crisps. Have now made my self a 2 litre bottle of no added sugar squash to stop eating. What do others do to try to stop the emotional eating please? many thanks in advance

I always make sure that
1. There is NO junk food in my house
2. I have healthy alternatives that satisfy me around
Plain yoghurt (NOT fat free with additives but instead I have it with no added sugar) with a ripe banana or some apple is just amazingAlso nuts are quite filling and nice to chew on.
Another strange one for me... soft tofu, cold and topped with fresh ginger and soy sauce. Amazing, I promise!
edit: on really bad days I do allow myself to go to the local convenience store and buy the smallest dark chocolate bar in site. I can't control myself otherwise!0
