Dealing with Anger at Myself

I mostly feel really positive about the changes that I'm making and I feel so much better about myself already but I have these moments (like right now) where I can't help but feel angry at myself for letting this happen to begin with. For not appreciating the body that I had before, and then I get sad when I think "even after losing all the weight, I will never get that back completely" (because of stretch marks, etc).

:(

Try to focus on looking forward, not backward. You can't change what you did or didn't do in the past, but you can make better choices for your future. Good luck to you!

You must be kind to and love yourself! Also, thinking in terms of "never" is destructive. Now might be a good time for you to look at health and happiness as inside as well as outside.

Hang in there. The past is the past. We cannot change it. However, we can change the future!

You are young and have the opportunity to reach your goals. quit worrying about the past, learn from it and move forward. With hard work and diligence you can look the way you want. I have been in your shoes, over and over again and at 59 I wish I could be where I was at 30. Do it now so you can love the way you look as you get older. It gets harder and more discouraging as you get older, but it's not impossible.

Don't look behind you lovely! You're not headed that way. =)

The only thing that matters now is that you've figured out what you were doing wasn't healthy. You've got the rest of your life to fix it. Best of wishes and luck!
