Starting 10k training

Hi everyone,

I am sure there are tons of threads about 10k training already, but since I am starting the training now, I thought I would start a new thread to see if anyone wanted to join in. I finished C25K up through week 6 and decided since I was running over 6km that I needed longer distance and running time. 30 minutes just wasn't challenging me enough. So now I am on 10k training, W1D2 completed yesterday. It is a little more challenging, but I am enjoying it. SO, anyone who is in the middle of or just starting or just wants to comment, feel free to join me. Happy Running.

W1D2:

Time 43:21
Distance: 7.19km
Av/KM: 6:01

I was slower than D1 run by about 30 seconds per KM. In my defense though, I had had pretty much no sleep the night before and should have just taken the day off. But, oh well. Better luck tomorrow for W1D3.

    wow!! Good luck to you, you are already super fast compared to me! LOL I'm training for a half and my average pace is 11 min per mile LOL Keep it up!!
