Using what you have to make healthy meals? On a budget?

I'm not well off, in fact, i'm so broke that homeless people point and laugh at me.

My main problem right now is the food bank in the area gives the most horribly unhealthy foods. Sodas, Tons of white breads and pastas. No fresh meat. no fresh veggies. Sometimes not even canned veggies. Never fruits. I usually get like.. spaghetti noodles, sodas, jarred spaghetti sauce mac and cheese and a gallon of whole milk. Other stuff thrown in.. potatoes and onion sometimes. but really it's not much of anything.

How can i eat healthy with this? I'd like to use this stuff since I don't have much money, but you can only have so much spaghetti with veggies before you go nuts!!

In my opinion, when making meals with these unhealthy foods, cut it in half. Try not to go pass your daily calorie limit and try to exercise for a least 30 mins daily. Tip: Try replacing soda with water and stop eating after 7 pm if you can.

Have you applied for any assistance? That way you can make your own choices.
