I've tried MFP before but have never gotten used to it in the long term. A few years ago I lost 40lbs using WW and was very used to their point tracker. I've been debating whether I want to join WW again or use MFP for free. I would love to connect with people who have lost weight with MFP.

I gained back all the weight I lost with WW and about 20 more pounds due to the steroids used during chemotherapy while I was being treated for Breast Cancer. Now that I am in remission and getting my life back I need to lose the extra weight since being overweight is a risk factor for a recurrence. I've managed to lose the chemo weight on my own but am stuck now and would love to be able to lose at least 40lbs and get to a normal BMI.

I hope I can do it this time with MFP, if not I'll have to try WW.

Your lost and gain sounds a lot like my journey- I lost 40 with Herbal Magic and was doing great...then we moved across the country and 35lbs crept back over 4 years. Now I am on a mission to lose the 35 + 15 more!! so I feel better about me, and I can keep up with my 2 young boys!!!

Congrats on the Remission that is huge!!!

So far I am down 14lbs as of today!!!! Yeah!!
