What A gift.

So the last blog I wrote was how excited I was about having to chance to have a V back and the C section that was scheduled for March 11th was canceled. well here goes nothing about what happened.

I was told that if the baby is less than 9 pounds we could try for a V back. On March 11 I had to go down to a governement office to take care of things. My sister came with me and told me I looked like there was something wrong. I told her that it was just contractions nothing serious.

as the day went on I felt worse and worse thinking that I was having false laibor I decided not to call the doctor. My sister begged me to call the doctor but I told her that I had an appt. the next day so there was no use in calling, besides my mom had told me it was probably nothing to worry about.

My doctor called me at 4:00 PM on march 11th to apalogize because she had forgottoen to cancel the C section. anyway I told her what was going on and she said I should come in.

the sonogram was good I wasnt even a centimeter dialated but they could not get a good hear beat so they sent me to the hospital to me monitered. my OB wanted me to wait until Tuesday night so that she could moniter me personally and try for a V back with induction.

At the hospital they put me on the moniters and after 3 hours My OB's Partner came in and said that they couldnt wait to try and induction and the best option would be a C section because An Induction was not possible.

She came to that conclusion when she saw that I was having contractions every 5 minuetes and I was not dialating and any attempt to cause dialation was not going to work so we agreed.

At midnight they took me to the OR and started the C section It turns out that the doctor was more right than we could hav imagined when they opened me up there was blood in the amniotic fluid and the placenta had started to pull away. If I had waited the 24 hours to try an induction My baby could have died and so could have I.

it turns out that my baby was 9 pounds 10 ounces so a V back would have been impossible.

I am truly blessed for now i have a 3 year old boy and an adorable 6 week old girl. My sister saved my babies life for if she had not convinced me to talk to the doctor then things could have ended very differently for her and me.

So here is a big Thank you to my sister who will never truly know what a gift she has given me.

Now its time to get back to logging in food and working out ( which I could do starting in 2 weeks) in order to lose the 160 pounds I have left to los.
