I just got a gazelle and did about 2.5 mph for 30 min. last night. Is this the same as 2.5 mph walking? I felt like I really kinda pushed myself so to say I only did 'easy/light walking' doesn't seem right to me. Although I am very overweight so maybe that's it?? It came out to about 1.5 miles I think. Everything I'm finding says I should have burned about 200-250 calories.
Thanks! (Kinda new to working out).

that sounds about right. I've been using a gazelle for about 15 years - the same one too!0

A gazelle is similar to an elliptical machine.0

I think some sites hike that number of calories burned up too high for mine, I have no tension.0

I just picked mine up yesterday for $25. I really wanted an elliptical but this was WAY more affordable at the moment. Since you've had yours for so long I'm guessing you see results with it? Mine doesn't have a tension setting either, that I can see. Is it good for just cardio or will it tone a bit too? So If i'm trying to track my workouts should I use the mpg and time under the walking category or a different category?
Thanks so much!0
