Hungry Girl Death by Chocolate Cake Cones

Has anyone made these? I want to make them for my son's preschool class, but it says they are better the day they are prepared. I have to make them the night before because of my work schedule. Do you think they will be okay?
I have a feeling it is the frosting that is making it better day of, because it is made with chocolate pudding. So maybe I can make the cake cones the night before, but not frost them until later.
Any ideas?

If they come out good, I will post the recipe in the recipe section.

That's probably exactly why. If you frost them...the cake and cone will get soggy overnight. Just make them up and throw the frosting on top that morning...they will be perfect. Good luck!0

Those are wicked cute! Your son's class will love them. I think you're right about the frosting0
