Hi,
I've been reading on here a lot about womens lifting to get that lean, strong look.
I'm quite interested in giving it a go, can someone please point me in the direction of some articles or posts/books that will get me going? I love exercise but have always been a bit of gym class (Boxercise, spin, pump) kind of girl so I'm not really sure where to begin!
Thanks heaps
Jx

I see alot of ladies doing 5x5 or Full body programs at the gym. Few started around the same time as me and they are looking fantastic.
This is the 5x5 Variation i do.

If you have a look at

Alot of people - females included posting thier progress and thoughts on the program. But so long as your in the gym doing something, u will be all good There is no prefect routine or method, what ever works and u enjoy is the key.
Also Rohan is a Auzzie and has his own channel on youtube, alot of great info here too:

Since you are a gym member, see if you can get a session with a personal trainer so that they can show you the proper form of compound lifts (squat, bench, deadlift, row) and then you can better incorporate the above programs into your routine. My gym offers 1 free session before signing up, but you can check with yours to see if you can at least get some help in the weight room on day 1 so you prevent injuries.0
