So my rad aunt buys me vitamins all the time....but I was wondering when is the most effective time to take them?
Before meals? After Meals? With meals with that certain vitamin?? No meal at all?
Any fun facts I should know about vitamins either would be cool too!
Thanks babes. xoxoxox

Depends on what vitamins you are talking about. I always take a Multivitamin, and Fish oil supplement with breakfast.0

Beginning of the day, makes the most sense. You need your micros!0

I take mine first thing in the morning, I don't know a whole lot about them but I think they run a bit of a placebo effect for me, I feel they 'kick start' my day.0

I take a multi vitamin and a vitamin c tablet in the morning and flax seed oil in my cereal(I'm a vegetarian)
I honestly feel so much better. I know people are going to say you don't need them but I used to be sick a lot and I haven't been sick once so I was lacking in something. I say morning is best0 -
There is little evidence that taking vitamins does any good.
However, if you are deficient in anything then take replacement as advised by your doctor.
If you feel the need to supplement your food, take a basic multivitamin. I'm pretty sure when you take it would not make any difference.0 -
I take mine in the morning, a multivit and fish-oil capsule. Then I take a cal/mag supp at night. I eat quite healthy, but I'm 6 months pregnant and I've not had any cravings at all. My doc says its because I've been taking vitamins for so long, that my body isn't lacking in any vit's or nutrients. Because in the end, a craving is just your body telling you that it is lacking something. Don't know how true the science is behind it, but it made a lot of sense to me when he said that.
Also, reason for taking cal/mag at night, it regulates blood sugar, helps you sleep better. And always take vitamins with water, because most vits are water soluble, some tabs might not be as effective if taken with other beverages.0
