What did you change your SUGAR daily allowance to?

I eat fruit every day, so my daily sugar allowance is often over. I've already bumped it to 40, but was thinking about bumping it to 50. Any thoughts?

I have my sugar set at 26grams. Once 1 I cut out my morning Apple (16 grams) I have not gone over. I usually just eat berries.

I don't know if this is the best advice, but the way I handled it was to change my food settings not to track sugar. I don't eat a lot of sweets, not even fruit, but my sugar was always way over just from the 1% milk I put on my cereal. It's not something I'm worried about, so why track it?

I don't really look at the sugar either. Just as somebody else mentioned, I drink a lot of milk and that alone would put me over, then add some fruit ..........

When I started this process, I thought for sure sugar WAS my problem and that cutting it out would help me lose. I have never paid attention to it and have lost 15 lbs!

Granted, I did cut out some desserts, just based on calorie watching in general, but I have not really watched sugar.

I don't even track my sugar, I don't use sugar on or in anything, or cook with it, and I don't eat sweets much, so all my sugar comes from fresh fruits and milk, so I'm not concerned with it.
