Post Workout Hunger

I started exercising today after a long time of being inactive and I am HUNGRY. I had a large banana prior to exercising and a protein shake right after my workout. 2 1/2 hours later I had a cup of coffee and 2 hard boiled eggs, 2 hours after that I had 1/2 a serving of a cucumber/avocado salad I made (I didn't like it much so I threw out the other half). I was still hungry so I ate some cottage cheese with fruit and I'm STILL hungry ... someone please tell me how to tame the hunger beast!
Ps. Before you go and check out my diary for today, just wanted to give you a heads up and let you know that I do not eat below my BMR. I refuse to eat a 1200 calorie diet, I can't! My body needs 1681 calories just to maintain me at rest.
Regards,
Alma

Maybe some more fat to help with satiety? Some nuts/olive oil etc. some high fibre veg and something warm? It seems like you had a lot of cold/room temp foods. It might just be me but hot meals always fill me up more0

I think what you ate looks fine and if your hungry you should eat. Just make good choices. I work out in the morning and am extremely hungry after so I eat my biggest meal in the morning.0
