5'6" and -60 lbs down...38 to go!

Hey all - I have lost 60 lbs since January 2012 (corrected) - it has been slow, but steady and I'm happy with my progress. My goal weight is 154 and I'm hoping to reach that by the end of 2013.
My first 5K is on July 15 of this year and having lost 60 lbs so far has really helped.

Oops - sorry - since January of last year (2012) I've lost 60 lbs...I think going slow has been key to long-term changing of my eating habits (I've been overweight since I was little) - now here's to losing more and keeping it off FOR GOOD!0

5'6" here and 30 pounds down, 41 to go for me. You look fab! Doesn't it feel so freeing to not have to lug all that extra weight around? Great job! Keep it up!0

You all are inspiring me. I am 5'6" and 15 pounds down. I have another 35 to go. I have sputtering for months now due in part to major hip surgery. However, I am back to my active self and hope to see the scale moving again. Good for all of you for making it happen for yourself and not giving up on your goals.0

Thanks to all my MFP friends for support - it really helps! Yes, I am starting to feel a lot lighter and that's great - also great not to have to squeeze into the largest size in the store. I think I am really starting to believe I will actually reach my goal weight. Hurrah!0

You look great!! Awesome job!!! I am 5'7 and currently down 20 lbs since 2/27/13 with 25 more to go to reach my goal weight of 135!!! I havent weighted below 145 since I had kids and my boys are 12 & 14 so I am so ready to get there!! I have been doing the Jillian Michaels 30DS and walking/jogging each day and have had great results!! I start Level 3 today!! Good luck everyone on your weight loss goals!! We can do this!!!0
