I personally log it all, even if I didn't eat it all.

If you ate very little of it, then I would suggest eyeballing and making a guesstimate. But if you ate more than half, I'd let it stand.

What fraction would you say you ate? If I eat about 1/3 of something I just go through and edit it. I like to be as honest as possible with myself.

put it in the fridge, finish it later, and log all of it.

I measure as I'm putting it together. How do you undo it after it's mixed? I log it all, knowing I didn't eat it all.

I usually spend about an hour to two hours picking at my plate until I've eaten everything if I can't finish it all in the first sitting. Not eating what I put on my plate is just cheating myself out of nutrients I need.

3 bites of eggs filled you up?

You're supposed to log what you actually eat, not what you're "pretending" to eat. :noway:

Put it away and "snack" on it when you are hungry. If by the end of the day you haven't finished it, then toss it (or store it for the next day) and log what you DID eat.

Adjust the portion to what you ate, why would you log the entire thing if you did not finish it? IMO

I put it in my pocket so I can eat it after my workout. That way I don't have to edit MFP and it's already warmed up.

I always finish. Sometimes it just takes me a few extra minutes if I'm not very hungry

Edit your diary and give the rest of the food to a hobo. Hobos LOVE half-eaten leftovers.

Since you didn't eat it all it counts as double the calories you originally accounted for. Sorry, no way to fix it.

It triples in caloric value/per dog.
