    Hi derbygirl,
I bike a little, if you want to friend me. I am mostly a runner and tennis player. But, i hurt my knee this past year and I started cycling because it was best for rehab. Turns out, I like it !
If you look at the top of the page, at the blue bar, there is a "groups" tab. Click it. That will take you to the 'groups' threads. There are groups for people with many different interests/activities. There are weight lifter groups, and weight loss groups, and old people groups, etc. Search for cycling, and/or bicycling, and/or biking, etc.
You should find many groups for people who like biking, and need others who can share information about cycling.
    Good luck

I used to ride my bike all the time! It got destroyed in Hurricane Sandy, but I'm hoping to get a new one now that the weather's nice again

MTB and occasional road biking (getting nervous with traffic these days). I have been off for the past 5 months but got back on the saddle yesterday. Did a 14 miles loop, mixture of off road and road. It was great to be back. Now lets hope that the trails get really dry...

Hmmm...I'd never noticed the groups tab either.
I bike whenever I can, because walking and the eliptical are boring.

Biking is awesome. I was really into biking before the birth of my third child but lost my momentum. This is the summer, I will be biking again and it will SUCK at first, lol. But I need it. I'll be the fat middle age woman on the bike.

I want to love it again, I have such good memories on my bike.

I biked like everyday in the summertime last year! It's actually really good for your legs, and what I like is that sometimes you don't even realize your working out your legs! Try biking with a friend :)

I am a fair weather biker. I wait until spring and go through September. I normally do 20-26 mile rides. My bike is more of a hybrid cruiser/mountain bike. I try to do a couple organized benefit rides during the summer. Right now I am doing stationary bike at the gym. I love riding my bike.

l'll be biking to work in a few weeks, once the "wintery mix" garbage is over with. It's only 5 miles but a couple of hills I really don't like so it gives me a good bit of exercise on top of my daily routines.
