I have PCOS and I am on Junel Fe (Oral Contraceptives) - they wont put me on Metformin cuz of 'everything else' I take; last time my fasting blood sugar was 94; the time before that is was 101; the time before that it was 102. I take Invega (antipsychotic)which does 3 bad things: increases my appetite/weight, raises my blood sugar and increases my prolactin levels which all exacerbate PCOS and conspire to make me infertile and amenorrhic at age 31.
