Upset Stomach......suggestions for treating?

Hi All,
Since yesterday my stomach has been doing its own thing. Late sunday, I ate some week old chicken soup. I thought it was fine and heat it up on the stove top. Then Monday I has all cramping (like really painful and left work) and then late last night/ this morning....things have been exiting to put it more politely.
I know I have some sort of stomach bug or food poisoning or something...but my questions is....
What do I do to get to stop? How can treat this more effectively? how long this last? ( I don't get sick often....let alone stomach sick)
I have inhaling pepdol and water since last night and I managed to eat some plain white rice yesterday.
Any suggestions on how to shake this?

continue the fluids! If you do think that it may be food poisoning, and not specifically r/t the old soup - you may want to follow up with the health department in the event that this may have been community acquired. You may also want to call your physician or nurse help line "ask a nurse" at a local hospital for some guidance. The last thing you want to happen is kidney or other organ damage as a result of this episode.
Hopefully it is nothing but a nuisance gut bug! take care0
