I would really like to know ,is it normal that in the past 2 1/2 weeks I have only lost 4 pounds. unlike other times i start a lifestyle change for healthy living i would never count calories or exercise. I now stick to a 1200 calories a day and i exercise at least 30mins walking a day up to 1 1/2 dancing. I enjoy the meals i pick to make and feel full. I even enjoy the exercise but getting a little discouraged that the weight is not coming off a little faster with such a drastic change in lifestyle habits.
all advise is welcome.

Yes that is normal/healthy for that time period at 1200 calories per day and very good job, WTG. Also, welcome to MFP.0

4 pounds in 2 1/2 week is pretty good....they dont recommend loosing more than 2 pounds per week
Not sure if I read this correctly....You workout for 30 minutes and then you dance for 1 1/2 hours....it wasnt clear to me
Alot of people stick to 1200 calories per day no matter how hard they work out and it works for them
Some people have to up their calories to see results
You may hit a plateau one day and may need to up your calories
