I have just recently increased my calories to 1600 (starting to follow TDEE - 20% and am slowly increasing my calories). So, I am setting my goals myself now and I am not sure what to set my macros at. What do you do?

Keep your protein intake higher than the rest (say 40%) as that will be the most beneficial to you since protein keeps you full. Then look at what you like to eat more of. Cant resist when a coworker brings in donuts or do you HAVE TO have bread? Then split you remaining 60% a little carb heavy. Gotta have bacon and cheese on everything? Think about splitting it up 35/25 going fat heavy. I personally go 40/30/30 and I find myself able to stay within my marcos pretty often, but when I do go over its usually in the carbs. Good luck!0

I set mine to 40/30/30 carbs/protein/fat - I follow the recommendations for TDEE & macros, etc, in this topic: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/937712-in-place-of-a-road-map-ver-3-0
And I've had great success.0
