Is there such a thing as having too many protein bars? I feel like I've been eating a lot of them lately. I know some are better than others. I try to steer clear of ones involving soy or sugar alcohols and go for ones with whey protein and lower sugar. Is it possible to have too much of a good thing?

I'd say yes. There are just so many higher quality sources for protein. Even the healthiest bars are much less healthy than a quality protein shake and for that matter a quality whole protein source. That said obviously they are super convient and very helpful if you need to add protein to your diet. I would just say eat them only when you need something fast or that little bit of extra protein.0

Yes, I would say one a day is sufficient, depending on the brand.my favorite brand is Dale's Raw Foods. You can purchase them online at Dalesrawfoods.com. They are vegan friendly, gluten-free and packed with a whopping 22g of protein. Check them out! Highly recommended.0
