I am a first time mom and currently work two nights a week from 10 pm to 6 am. Today I woke up at 6am and wont sleep again until Tomorrow night. Having a small meal at night helps keep my energy up. Should I do this? Should I just snack on fruits and veggies? Im trying to not screw myself over on calories for the rest of the day.
Thanks.
Thanks.

The biggest issue I see is the risk of sleep deprivation and a tendency of most people to resort to noshing as a way to stay awake. Can you nap at the same time as your infant? In the big scheme of things, if some of your housework is left undone, the world isn't going to end. You may have to experiment with how to spread out your calories during the day. For some, it helps to look at weekly calorie intake, rather than daily (so if you have a "high" day, you have one or more "lower" days to balance things out.0
