New, underweight and wondering if I am eating enough?

Hi!
I'm a 17 year old female who is 5'1 and weighs 88 pounds. I don't workout but when I'm not sat down in class, I'm on my feet. I'm not trying to lose weight; I'm using this website so that I can log what I eat and to make sure that I eat enough. I put my exercise status as sedentary and my target has been calculated to 1400 calories a day. My friends and family have expressed their concerns of me not eating enough and I probably don't eat enough but I don't feel hunger pangs so I have to force food down me. I think I eat healthily (not sure if you can view my food log but if you can then you can judge for yourself) but people say that I need to eat more but I get horrendous stomach pains if I eat too much. I struggle to meet 1400 calories (now and before I joined). I've been like this for about 6 months now.
Just wanted to hear what you guys think

Your diary is not visible. You can change that under settings if you would like more helpful suggestions.
Right off the top of my head (not knowing how you eat), if getting enough calories is the problem, be sure not to use nonfat or reduced fat products. Buy the full fat variety of cheese, yogurt, etc.0 -
It might not be a bad idea to visit with a doctor or dietitian just to make sure there are no underlying medical conditions and that the foods you eat are giving you the most "bang for your buck". If you're trying to gain weight, I'd have to think you need more than 1400 per day. Maybe you could work on drinking some calories - smoothies, milkshakes etc.0

Your topic question has answered itself, usually when I see any persons weight below the 100lb barrier, it's definitely a cause for concern!
If you are simply struggling to meet your caloric goals, you should buy a mass/weight gainer, they are usually a meal replacement due to high calories but in your case, you should take it as a supplement with your normal meal! :flowerforyou:
Good luck!0
