How to beat loose-booty pants?!

Hello everyone! I'm battling something very very serious...loose booty! Where your pants sag in the back so it looks like your butt is concave versus plumpy and round. Seems like all the weight I lost came off my buns, and although I'm loving this it seems like the rest of my body is the same. My primary method of exercise is biking and I lift a little weights about 2x a week. Any advice from my wonderful MFP community? Thanks in advance you guys are awesome.

    I do squats everyday. 3 one-minute challenges and I can do 50 in one minute.

    HEAVY squats - meaning with a barbell and progressively increasing weight. Same with lunges. Grab some dumbbells. :)

    I suffer from "no butt" syndrome also...I do lunges in the gym with dumbells.

    I don't mean this offensive, but...... if you can do 50 squats in one minute, I don't think you do them right ... ^^
    grab a barbell, grab some weights and grab someone who can show you the right technique

    50 body weight squats? That is great but lets try some with heavy weights. Lunges are also great and bridges. I squat 245lbs and there is no way i can do 50 in one minute. Sometimes its just your genes. I dont have a round perky booty and I will never have one, but i do work out the one i have :) When I lost the weight 70+ lbs, I lost the fat on my *kitten* and my true booty shined through, which wasnt much of anything.

    Look around youtube there are lots of variations/modifications for injuries or equipment you might have like the workout ball.

    This one in particular because it has removeable pads that you can take out once you get your behind how you want it. Also because that is a good quality brand but there are others out there, look around if it interests you while you get there.

    ETA: Also OP I would get a trainer to work on your squats form because I'm not sure it's possible to do them that fast while using proper form. Let me just say FORM, FORM, FORM, not only to achieve results intended by the exercise but also to protect from injury. Adding weights will get you there faster obviously think of a guy building his biceps more weight gets them bigger right? Same for your butt. Think of squats in that way rather than as a cardio thing. Faster isn't always better.

    OP - Are you into workout DVDs?? If so, there is an excellent system out there from the FIRM called "Body Sculpting System" ... Look for the 1st Body SS (there are a few) and also invest in the "Fanny Lifter"... The Fanny Lifter is a two part step (6 inches / 8 inches / and when combined turn to 14 inches high.) This system works WONDERS for your rear! There are a lot of squats and lunges, some of which include dumbbells and/or the step, or just the step. You can find the Firm workouts at

    or browse online and see if you can find the complete BSS 1 with the Fanny Lifter for a good price. Ebay might have it, or Overstock. It's been out for around a decade, so it shouldn't be very expensive at all.

    If you are just going to do squats and lunges, do some research and find a variety of squats/lunges. There are many ways to do them, and while the basic squat and lunge can be modified for beginners/intermediate, there are also advanced ways to do them that will help build up both the larger and smaller muscles around your target area.

    Try slowing down with your squats too. Check your form and they should really hurt after a couple of minutes!

    Also, buy new pants! :)

    Thanks everyone! I have really been working on my form, I use a one-minute squat challenge video on youtube and I just copy her. She goes pretty fast and it really burns...but my knees are doing great I know that knee pain is a sign of bad form. I head to the bathroom at my office and just bust them out. I think it's genes also lol. I like using hand weights (10lbs) where I push my arms above my head as I squat down. Hurts like the ****ens but its oh-so-good.
