Want to jumprope how big a rope?

I am a 6 foot 5 inch (195 cm) man and looking for how long a skipping rope I will need. Any ideas? I know in high school when I played basketball (too long ago) the ropes always seemed short and I would catch my feet.

Go get yourself a good leather jumprope and you'll be fine. They make 'em for tall guys. Us normal size guys just tie knots in them to shorten them. I had mine for about a decade.
