Oh how easy it is to give up!

So... I sign up on MFP and kick it in the *kitten* for almost 6-months. I dropped 42-pounds and was feeling great (sounds like this should be on the success stories post right?) and then, WHAM! I turn into a total douche and just quit logging on. I stop going to the gym. I buy the cookies that those damn evil little keebler elf's are peddling at the Publix. I know I'm messing up... You know I know because I stop putting my fat *kitten* on the scale. Flash forward almost 6-months and here I am wondering what the hell happened. I know what happened; I gave up. The sad part is that I'm spending more at the store, not eating nearly as well as I was and, yes I put my fat *kitten* back on the scale, I've packed on 30 of the 42-pounds that I lost!
I'm done whining!! I'm back!!! Bet against me and see if you don't loose your hard earned money!!!! It's nice to have friends kick me in the *kitten* but I've got big feet. I'll kick it myself! Back on track today; Killin' it at the gym tonight! Dont think so? Check my profile and see if I don't do it!!!!
Wow... Now I'm pumped and want to go to the gym. Better get to bed. Goodnight.

You can totally do this! So you gave up for 6 months, it's so easy (like you said) to give up. It's harder to get started... and now you've done it /twice/! You're back on track now, and you're still 12 lbs under what you originally started with!0

Awesome! You know what works, and you can do it again!0

I did the same dam* thing...packed 20 lbs. back on. But like you I'm back and soon those 20 lbs. will be gone!0

Me too - I just broke my 200+ days of continuous logon and am going to start all over. Haven't stepped on the scale yet, but I think I gained nearly all of it back. Strategy #1 - no food after supper, and strategy #2 - figger out how to balance my macros.0

You can do this! You made your way back which is great! I've been a member here for 5 years and have taken my share of hiatus's. I've battled my weight all my adult life. So it's just important that you made your way back. Good luck!!0

You can do it!! I'm a re-starter too and this time I'm not giving up! I whine, moan, give out, then pick myself and keep going! Add me if you wish0
