Craving sweet before run to feel those endorphins

I had a piece of sweet last two days and I could really run better!! More than 40 mins !!It is really great for me...That is making me crave something sweet again before my run to feel those endorphins...It is definitely in my calorie goal ...but its not healthy way I know... any suggestions ...is this wrong? I know this is a stupid question...just don't want to make it a habit...:explode:
