30 day shred

Hi I am new to myfitnesspall, eating healthy, exercising and everythng else having to do with lifestyle changes. I have started the 30 day shred and not sure how to enter it in to my exercise log.

I always enter it as circuit training.0

What do you mean, weighted exercises? They wont count for your calories but you can manually put them in.0

I read in a recent post on myfitnesspal that until you buy yourself a good heart rate monitor, there is no way to know for sure how many calories you're burning during the 30 day shred, but I took the advice posted of entering it under cardio as "circuit training". However, we should definitely purchase a heart rate monitor.0

Most people use it as circuit training but I would go based on your own reaction to the sets... if you find your heart rate is up and you're sweating, you should be OK with that... however, when I was doing the 30DS I found I wasn't getting my heart rate up high enough so I wasn't burning as many calories.0
