30 day shred

Hi I am new to myfitnesspall, eating healthy, exercising and everythng else having to do with lifestyle changes. I have started the 30 day shred and not sure how to enter it in to my exercise log.

    What do you mean, weighted exercises? They wont count for your calories but you can manually put them in.

    I read in a recent post on myfitnesspal that until you buy yourself a good heart rate monitor, there is no way to know for sure how many calories you're burning during the 30 day shred, but I took the advice posted of entering it under cardio as "circuit training". However, we should definitely purchase a heart rate monitor. :wink:

    Most people use it as circuit training but I would go based on your own reaction to the sets... if you find your heart rate is up and you're sweating, you should be OK with that... however, when I was doing the 30DS I found I wasn't getting my heart rate up high enough so I wasn't burning as many calories.
