How much do you eat?
I am supposed to eat 1500 to maintain, but i do crossfit and race bicycles so there are some days i am "supposed" to eat 2500-3000 calories. This seems INSANE. I eat meats/plants/nuts/whiskey if that helps.
Just wondering.

I'm shorter than you and weigh 123 lbs... and I eat at least 1700 on a day I don't workout. On workout days, I come close to 2100. I'd be starving if I was just eating 1500.0

I'm still losing at 123.5 pounds but 1500 seems about reasonable for maintenance before eating exercise calories. I have a fairly sedentary lifestyle (student, active bartending job but only 3 nights per week, and I spend lots of time on my butt studying etc.) and I barely lose on 1200 calories if I'm not exercising-1500 for maintenance would probably be about right for me pre-workouts.
If you're really burning 1000-1500 calories from your workouts (which, even if they're intense, seems REALLY high for your small weight, as we burn a lot fewer calories than bigger people) then yeah, you should probably try to eat back as many of those calories as possible if you want to maintain your weight. But to me, unless you're working out several hours a day, your exercise calories just seem really high for your size.0 -
thanks for the replys--
Peleroja-- i ride my bike to work with is 20 miles there and 20 miles back. add in some crossfit and swim training sessions on my heavy training days and it's easy to hit 1000.
Imagine how much we'd burn if we weighed more lol0 -
I'm 5' 3 and I WISH I weighed 110-120. I used to weight 100. That was a long time ago now! You definitely need to up your calories on exercise days or your body will suffer. Keep up the great work!0
