Let me break it down for you the way I cook.
Recipe:
1/2 C pumpkin puree-- ~35 cals, 4g fiber, 2g protein, 0g fat
1/2 C dry instant oats-- ~100 cals, 4g protein, 2g fiber, 2g fat
2 large egg whites-- ~30 cals, 7g protein, 0g fiber, 0g fat
1 tsp. cinnamon-- ~5 cals, 0g protein, 1g fiber, 0g fat
1/2 tsp baking powder-- ~8 cals, 0g protein, fiber and fat
1 tsp pure vanilla extract-- ~12 cals, 0g protein fiber, and fat
Mix that **** in a bowl.
Put your supposedly nonstick pan on high heat. Let it heat up. Put first pancake in the pan. When you smell it start to burn, scrape the burnt **** into the trashcan while trying to salvage the uncooked parts.
Get an actual nonstick pan and put it on the stove over MEDIUM heat, you dense cow.
Top them with whatever your growling foodbeast desires. Mine wanted apple butter and almonds.
Devour your pancakes.
Done.

Funny! And sound soooo delicious. I will be making these soon!0 -
Glad everyone likes the recipe! I will add that they are not very sweet, so if you want sweet, add some brown sugar or top it with something sweet, like I did!0

Hilarious! Sounds like most of my futile endeavors... but I'm glad yours worked out! Will have to try... I LOVE anything with pumpkin. Which btw I do NOT believe should be a "seasonal" flavor. That's a load of ****!!! :-D0

It pairs well with the pumpkin and is better than syrup! Hope you enjoy them!0 -
i made these today and were lovely.....i added a bit less oats and substituted with some coconut flour and i added pumpkin spice instead of cinnamon.....anyway i have real problems with making pancakes....they just fall to bits and i usually just end up cooking the bits in the pan! tried adding more liquid/less liquid/whole eggs.....nothing seems to work...omg how easy it is to make pancakes usually...but not for me it would seem lol!:sad:0

ended up just cooking them in the oven...only way i could get them to work without falling to bits lol!0
