Organising a video for my friend's 40th

So...my friend is turning 40 and has had a bit of a rough time over the past 12 months. I thought I'd put together a video of birthday messages from around the world...but from people she doesn't know! I'm thinking people could say a simple "Happy Birthday" or be as elaborate as making something up (like "Remember the time we....?"). I'm not expecting quality, dodgy iphone / webcam is fine.

Here's the thing...I don't know how to find these random kind strangers (although I have put feelers out through Facebook). So...any ideas? Are there websites where you can put an idea out there?
