Post Hysterectomy Exercise

So now 8 weeks past my hysterectomy, plus a load of other stuff they "fixed" while in there. I need exercises that I can work myself into. I have been walking, but it pulls on my lower stomach, so taking it slow. So needless to say, I haven't accomplished as much as I had planned. Does anyone have good post surgery workouts?

If even walking is pulling on you, maybe just try taking it easy for a couple more weeks? Walking is the easiest one I can think of.0

Ditto walking. It's really the best thing to ease back into activity. Ask your dr if the pulling is good or bad. Just because you feel it. doesn't mean it's bad. At 8 weeks tissue is generally healed, but never do anything w/out consent from your surgeon.
Best of luck with your healing.0 -
I am cleared by the surgeon. The pulling is just muscle stretching from what he tells me, so not bad. I am walking a little more each day and that helps. I was just wondering if there was something else I might also be able to incorporate. Thanks for the advice!0
