    I started out switching to non-caffeinated beverages and I was able to tone it down, but what really worked for me was just drinking more water. I have a bottled light Starbucks drink some mornings, and it helps keep me awake during the busiest part of my day. I grab a diet Cherry Pepsi in the afternoons and drink about half it for the rest of the day. When I go out to restaurants I now get water instead of a soda (some places charge up to $2.50 just for a soda).
