Just a question for input Lately I have been obsessive about comparing the way I look now to the way I looked 2 years ago before I started my journey toward a better me. Like taking pictures of the same thing as 2 year ago to compare the 2. Is that normal does anyone else do that. Its not that I am looking for people to tell me how great I am doing its just for my own benefit. I just don't know why I feel the need to do that, input please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wait until you start making T-shirts with before and after photos silk screened onto them. Or wait until you start being late to all your appointments because you can't stop looking in the mirror.

You're doing good...keep it up. But sure...would bang.

Thanks I guess its cause everyone that see my pictures from 2 year ago are like wow I can't believe it, but its been a slow change because its been a year and a half since I started and I went from 190 to 142 and it came off a little at a time so i think the people i work with don't even realize how big i was then

Sometimes you need to be reminded of what you accomplished. Body images don't change that fast. I can imagine needing to see proof that you've done it, to convince yourself you aren't the same anymore. Sometimes I'm surprised when I look at the mirror, and it's like seeing myself in a different persons body, and I think, "sure, would bang."

i understand what you're saying (despite the run-on sentences...) but i would warn you against becoming too obsessed. there's a such thing as orthoexia nervosa (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orthorexia_nervosa) and all its accoutrements.

also, it probably wasn't too PC/sensitive of you to say you were "retarted" [sic].

You are right I didn't think about that I apologize if I offended anyone, and I always use run on sentences for some reason. I guess since I have to be so punctual at work and check everything before sending it to customers I don't worry about it any other time. I won't get over obsessive I just wanted to see if it made sense to anyone or see what others thought about it. I am not as confident as I could be I still have a lot of work to do and I am not concieted at all, I have always had issues with my weight since middle school and I think this is the smallest I have ever been since then

Orthorexia is where you obsess over the quality and purity of your food, not over your image.

If and when I get suitably fit, I will pay a camera crew to film me running a 5K in a bikini, adding in split-jumps and extra bouncing when possible.

I don't obsess over my food, maybe i should and i would loose more weight lol and i am pretty sure i wouldn't film myself or take a picture of myself in a bikini at this point. Then again I cant picture myself running a 5K either

They're fun, you should try a color run if one comes to town close to you (color me rad, color in motion, etc) They're non competitive, just do the best you can and get really, really messy. Makes for some great photos :)

Girl, once I get to my goal weight and size and look and everything, you won't be able to get me to STOP taking pictures, because I will be so effing ecstatic with myself. lol.

Yeah try not to freak out your friends and co-workers, but I don't blame you for being excited with your progress, haha.
