Fitbit or BodyMedia FIT?

I own a BodyMedia Fit, but I deactivated it a couple months ago. Currently, I am a lot less active than I used to be so I want to make sure I am eating the right amount of calories. I was wondering if I should get the Fitbit Flex when it comes out or reactivate my BMF. My only real issue with the BMF is the armband is a little annoying. I realize that I would have to pay for a new piece of equipment if I get the Fitbit or I would pay a monthly fee if I stick with my BMF.
How accurate is the Fitbit? Has anyone had both and preferred one over the other? If so, why?

I've had friends tell me they were less happy with the FitBit than with the BMF. Personally, I'm a big BMF user and it has never bothered me and has definitely helped with my motivation. I've had friends with the BMF and HRMs and have confirmed the accuracy to be very high with the BMF. To me, I don't understand how a device can be accurate without skin to skin contact (fitbit). There's science in the skin recognition such as the heat sensors, etc... But you just have to get what works for you0

Also, the new generation of BMF is coming out with a HRM in it in the summer0
