Do I Count The Calories Burned While At Work?

Hello everyone! Forgive me if this isn't the ideal place for this post, but it seemed like the right place to ask.

I recently bought a HRM that keeps track of calories burned, distance traveled a, and steps taken (as well as current HR) throughout the day. My question is: do I count those calories burned through a day of work and add those to my actual 'work out' calories burned or are those calories burned thru regular daily activities like working already figured into MFP ?

No. Only log the calories that you burned during an actual workout.

Unless you have a job that is physically active, I would only count the calories burned during exercise. I just got an HRM a couole of weeks ago and found out that I was not loging enough calories for my exercise video (Richard Simmons Swesting to the Oldies 2). The monitor will be great incentive to get more of a workout! AT least it was for me!

This. Your lifestyle (active, sendentary, etc) that you chose when you filled out your settings already accounts for that. Only log calories burned during intentional workouts.

Thanks. I was assumng that they were already calculated by MFP to give me my daily caloric needs. Just wanted to be sure :)
