I'm new to the site and through tracking my food, I'm realizing I dont get enough fiber most days. What type of healthy things do you include in your diet to help with your fiber intake?

Fiber one brownies for a treat. Veggies such as lettuce. Apples are also a good source of fiber. I hope this helps!0

This question is really perplexing to me.
There are very few things I eat that don't have fiber in them.
How to get fiber in your diet:
Step 1: Locate edible plant.
Step 2: Eat it.0 -
There are so many to list. This website shows you hundreds of options:

Eat whole fruits and veggies, including the peel if you can. Or if you like juice, get the kind with pulp.
Go with whole wheat bread, pastas, ect. and be sure to check to make sure whole grains are at the top of the ingredient list.
Eat beans, lentils, and legumes.0 -
I love beans, gonna start adding them to my daily salad! That should push me up where I need to be! thanks!0

I have organic applesauce with my breakfast and usually a pretty big spinach salad at lunch and dinner so those give me a lot of fiber, but I also love a fiber supplement that I got from Safeway. It dissolves in anything (food, liquid) and it is tasteless and doesn't change the texture at all. It's like Benefiber but it's the Safeway brand, it's not too expensive and it lasts me a long time. I love it!0

Lots of veggies-- I try to have two servings of veggies with my lunch and dinner and that usually does it for me. Fruits and oatmeal are good too.0

I like to add a couple tablespoons of roasted flax to my yogurt in the morning. I also eat it with a couple ounces of raspberries. That reasonable breakfast accounts for 8g of the 21 I try and get for the day.0

I am very rarely under my fibre recommendation. In fact, usually, I am way over. I add flax seed to my yogurt every morning and I eat a lot of vegetables and whole grains. When I make salad, I sprinkle chia seeds on it.0

Oh gosh, I usually get between 50-70g of fiber a day. I eat a ton of Oatmeal. Lots of days I'll eat it for Breakfast and then for Dinner, too.
Of course, I'm a vegetarian so it's almost impossible for me to be low-fiber.0 -
I eat a crapload(literally) of vegetables and fruits. I hit 56g yesterday, that included about a kilo of fruits and vegetables.
I also have beans and houmous, nuts and seeds.0 -
Eat plants.0

The optimal choices for me:
Veggies
Fruits
Steel cut oats (put fruit on 'em and they're a twofer)
My self-indulgent fiber: a Quest bar a day. They have like 15-18 grams per bar. Also protein. And you can pronounce every ingredient.
I often top out over 50 grams of fiber a day and never less than 40, without really trying.0
