Gnocchi???

I like to make gnocchi with sweet potatoes and wheat flour. That certainly makes them less starchy, but perhaps not less caloric. Why don't you make them but mix them with lots of veggies and protein? That way you'll eat fewer gnocchi pillows, lower the caloric content of the dish overall, and still enjoy delicious, delicious gnocchi.

I make this one because it's easy, and no eggs means fewer cals, then its veggies 'n marinara on top or spinach, kale, walnuts and balsamic. (my hubby also adds goat cheese or feta)

How about Spinach Ricotta Gnocchi also called gnudi. They are not made with potatoes and are generally light and fluffy0
