Eating on a diet after getting a tooth pulled

Tomorrow morning I am going to the dentist and I am having actually three teeth pulled on the back right side. (two upper and one lower)I will probably be in lot of pain, and it will be hard to eat solid foods for a few days.

Any recommendations on food? I know the next few days my calories will probably be way under I'm assuming. I'm on a 1200 diet.

Thanks in advance!

Cream of anything soup. Maybe add some quoinoa for some protein because it's such a tiny little grain you don't have to chew it.

When my mouth was sore from dental work, I ate greek yogurt, scrambled eggs (not the first day, but the day after), mashed potatoes, my daughter made me smoothies, any smooth type soup.

Gums do heal quickly after teeth get pulled. Hang in there.

There have been some good suggestions so far. I'd add applesauce, smoothies, protein shakes, peanut butter, and ice cream/frozen yogurt to that list.
