If they are zero calorie foods, why do we have to eat them in moderation? Surely we could eat as much as we liked0

Unfortunately this isn't true. There are no negative calorie foods ... not even celery which is super low in calories anyway. Close but not entirely.0

if they were zero calories. you would eat them on end. not worrying about gaining lbs.
wish it could be true. but, the fact is, that they all have carbs too and other nutritious.
just like fatty food, you eat more than amount you, gain weight.
tricking ourselves to believing they are low calories to nothing, eating more than you should, will result as gaining weight

Nice veggie list, there'd a good fibre and micronutrient intake in that lot. Sadly if I ate over my TDEE in those foods I would still gain weight.
