Hi everyone! I would love to join your group. When do you weigh in? What is your challenge for this week?

I started at 171lbs and am currently at 159. I would love to get down to 140 or even better 135.

Welcome and of course you can join us. We weigh in on Sunday's. You need to send all of your weight info to Jack. He does a wonderful chart for us so we can celebrate with the "losers" and support the "gainers"!!! Jump right in and tell us about yourself!

Jack had a great idea of whoever the biggest looser is for the week picks the challenge....This week it was Renae so she challenged us to drink all of our water every day and to get in 30 min of exercise a day. Then we are to report back each day as to if we did it!!!!

Good Friday Morning to you team!!!! ;) Yesterday I got in a lot of water (mainly through tea though) and made it to curves last night. I have been drinking my Green Tea in the morning as well, but keep forgetting at night. Got it done last night. It is suppose to be beautiful here for the next few days with the exception that the wind is suppose to come up. But in the 90's!!!! Sure beats those Colorado Winters!!! ;)

Should be a quiet day at work today but I have a lot of stuff to get done so hopefully it will be quiet!! The good thing is.....as you farmers out there now......when the weather is nice all my farmers are in the fields and don't come in to our office. It is the bad weather days when they do their paperwork, and such that hammer us!!! I love them though!!!

Well, off to get some things done. Hope everyone has a great Friday.

I have heard so many great things about drinking green tea and its benefits for weight loss but have not gotten into yet.
Has it been working really well for you?
What kind of Green Tea do you drink?
I guess I am nervous that I am going to ruin the benefits of the green tea with all the sugar.

    Happy Friday :flowerforyou:

Actually....Renae (here on this thread) got me started on it because she said it was helping her so much so I thought what the heck. By golly......it does work. I drink one cup in the morning and try.....to have one cup at night. I just ue the Lipton green tea bags and brew one cup at a time. I don't put any sugar in my tea ever.....regular or green.... If you want to use a sweetener I would suggest you use one of the imitations. But I'm no expert. I am Scottish so love tea anyway. The green tea has a different taste to it than regular tea. Give it a try and let us know what you think!

Not sure I got my water in today either. PHOEY!!!!!!

Hello everyone! Since I am new to your group I figured I should tell you a little bit about myself. I am 36 years old with an almost 6 year old daughter and an almost 4 year old son. I am a stay at home work from home type mother. Sometimes I have work and sometimes I don't so my schedule is different all the time.
I never had any problem with my weight until about 3 years ago. After my son was born and was quite a demanding little baby, many sleepless nights and still having to take care of my 2 year old daughter somehow depression settled in for me. I didn't have a very good support network. It was just my husband (who travels a lot) and me. As the saying goes "It takes a village to raise a child" - well we only had ourselves. So in desperation to feel better quickly so I can take good care of my family I trusted my doctor and took Cymbalta to help with the depression. At that point the pounds started piling on and I gained 20 pounds in less than a year. One time I saw a picture of myself that my daughter had snapped from behind and was quite upset at the way I looked. So, instead of that being my wakeup call to take control of my life I went on an eating binge and put an additional 10 pounds in about 2 weeks. Even though I was still taking the Cymbalta I was quite depressed, so in a moment of disgust I flushed whatever remaining pills I had down the toilet and decided to find alternative ways to deal with the depression. Withdrawal from Cymbalta was like walking through hell, but I did it. I also found some supplements that helped the depression and finally decided it was time to lose weight. I started exercising and making better food choices and I lost 10 pounds. Then I found this site and I've lost 3 more since joining. Hoping being on this site with a support from a small group I can lose the remaining extra weight.
That's my story. Sorry to ramble and thanks for reading.

Morning all. Well yesturday wasn't the best day. Was in Yorkton for the day, so of course we ate at mcdonalds, then I brought home pizza hut for supper in the field. I was only over 391 calories, so that wasn't to bad.

Drank all my water, but never got in my 30 min of excercise since we were in Yorkton. By te time I got home I was to tuckered.

Cooler here today, and we are suppose to get 50+ mm of rain. Man I hope they are wrong there is still so much crop to put in. But so far the rain has held of, the hourly forcast had it starting at 9.

Today I will eat so so, I usually don't count on Sat but still somewhat watch. My shoulder is still killing me, so no workouts, and no walks since it is terribly windy here and the forcast of rain. And if it does rain, we will be spending time with the hubby/daddy since the kids and I haven't really seen him for a week.

Going to work on some books, and that is it for the day. Should be cleaning, but there is always tomorrow, lol.

Hope everyone has a good weekend, it is a long weekend here.

My youngest and I went yard selling today too. Did you find any good deals? I got a wooden sandbox with a removable canopy top for $3 that I am going to paint and give to my nieces for their birthday. I also found a great deal on clothes for $1 but I got about 5 pieces that are too small, still got a great deal on several jackets and tops.

Good morning (well afternoon by now!)!!

Did my 2nd 5k this morning and it went great! My very first 5k was all flat ground and I finished in 46 minutes so I was hoping to improve my time a little bit the next time around. The run today had so many hills - I swear they all went up and I never went down! But I finished in 44 minutes, so I like to think I would of been fasting if the hills weren't there, great for training though!

It started raining later on and I got to relax a little and got homework done. Now it's so nice and sunny, DH and I are going to take our 2 year old over to a toddler amusement park and get some exercise together!

The week has been very stressful and my husband got laid off yesterday, but I didn't go to food for comfort! Hopefully something turns up, but I feel a lot better handling the situation when I go to workout instead of chowing down!

Good evening all...I had a busy day today. My son and I went yard selling and I got a great sand box. I spent 3 hours painting it this afternoon, did some housework, cooked supper and now I'm pooped. We did get in the hot tub for about an hour this evening and that made me feel so much better. Now I need about 8 hours sleep. Have a good night:yawn:

I was a little disappointed with only a .8 loss considering how heavy I am, but this morning getting dressed I went down the next belt hole!!! It was so exciting and just made my day that much happier!

DH, my son and I all went to the St. Croix railroads for the afternoon - we had a great time! For breakfast we had the new subway breakfast sandwiches (delicious and only 150 cals!!) and then McDonalds for lunch. We got a treat at lunch and had one of their new snack sized mcflurries. DH and I split it and I was so excited about the new tiny ones, but they still have a whopping amount of calories!!! I would rather get a big ice cream cone next time!

You got to love those new belt holes!!! New belt holes lead to new pants which end up leading to more new pants and eventually new BELTS!!!!

Oh BOY!!!!! Well had to go to the dentist this morning for fillings. Not big ones or anything major, but my bottom lip feels like it is swollen out 10 feet! EGADS!!!! Now I know why I put off going to the dentist as long as possible. TEE HEE....

I am at work but have asked that no one send calls to me... :0 I feel like I am mumbling like crazy. Trying to drink some water....that is interesting!!!

Anyway, I lost a wee bit this week. Down to 157.8 this morning!

Well, off to do something that doesn't entail talking or moving my mouth in the least!!! ;) Have a happy Monday everyone! Jack says our chart is big, so can't wait to see it!!! ;)
