Cantelope? Spinach? I had no idea!! I personally think sodium should only count in cases like packaged food and chips and whatnot...

Well your body needs some sodium.... but atleast it's better to get it from healthy/whole foods than say potato chips, packaged meals,e tc. As long as you're drinking enough water its all good0

I have been tracking sodium, and I think that the AHA recommended 1500mg is designed to be exclusively non-processed foods. The only days I get at that level or lower I have eaten zero in the way of bread/lunchmeat/anything from a box/anything from a restaurant. There are a lot of things that do not NEED so much sodium, but manufacturers are trying to create a craving for products to keep you buying more, and salt/sugar/fat help them do this.0
